Taco pasta one pot 20 minute meal

I found this recipe online, though I cannot remember where. It looks similar to this- but without the garnish and lime. It has become a household favorite, takes little time to prepare, and dirties very little dishes.

Creamy Taco Shells

                                  Creamy Taco Pasta

Ingredients-

Large shell pasta
1 pound of ground beef
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 can of corn, drained
1 can of black beans - You can find this in the Mexican isle.
1 can of un-drained crushed tomatoes with Mexican flavors - I get mine with red Chile peppers
1 16 oz sour cream
1 block of cream cheese

Brown your ground beef. I always cook my ground beef in water. This make it easier to drain the grease off of the meat, and it doesn't seem to crumble as much when cooking it in water.
Once your meat is cooked, add the seasoning, corn, black beans, tomatoes and two cups of water. simmer on medium.  In a different pot cook your pasta. Once your pasta is cooked and drained add it to your other ingredients. Fold (mix) the pasta in well.
Turn to medium heat and add the sour cream and cream cheese.
Mix both in well until they are melted in. Turn your heat to low, cover and simmer for ten minutes stirring often.
It will turn out thick and creamy.

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
